Ambassador K. Sairaan receives his Credentials from President Elbegdorj



President Elbegdorj hands Credentials to Mr. K. Sairaan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary form Mongolia to Kuwait.

Mongolia and Kuwait established diplomatic relations over three decades ago. The decision to establish Mongolian in Kuwait made in 2009 marked an important step toward expanding and deepening Mongolia-Kuwaiti bilateral relations and cooperation.

President Elbegdorj marked with satisfaction the notable invigoration of our bilateral relations in the past decade and emphasized the importance of expanding trade, economic and business relations. President advised the Ambassador to explore any potential venues of mutually beneficial cooperation. Also, the President stressed the important role Mongol-Kuwaiti intergovernmental committee is to play in advancing our bilateral relations. Mongolia and Kuwait both would greatly benefit from cooperation in oil, mining, energy, infrastructure and agriculture sectors. Mongolia has potentials to export livestock originated raw materials to the countries of the region – meat, skins, wool etc.

President Elbegdorj also urged Ambassador Sairaan to work to expedite the process of establishing a National Library in Ulaanbaatar with grand aid of the Government of Kuwait.

Ambassador Sairaan expressed his firm commitment to further developing bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Kuwait and thanked the President for the trust to delegate a responsible mission of Mongolian ambassadorship to him. Ambassador Sairaan stated that he would explore every avenue to enhance Mongolia’s friendship and relations with Kuwait and the countries he will be covering with residence in Kuwait.
