SPEECH BY PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA ELBEGDORJ TSAKHIA AT THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF NATIONAL HOLIDAY NAADAM

My dear people,
Honored guests,

The festival of the Mongolian people was successfully held on these fine summer days, and is now ready to be concluded. Naadam Festival was displayed in all its magnificence, as racing horses were fast, archers’ aiming were sharp, and wrestlers’ strength even.

This year’s Naadam has graced the Mongolian people with vigor and fortune. Great deeds await us to take care of ourselves, our homes, and our nation. The coming years are time for us to accomplish much in our country and build a happy, flourishing life for us and our children. It is without a doubt Mongolia would grow to be a prosperous nation if every person would strive to be the best they can be, keeping their individual responsibilities on check.

I now pronounce the Naadam Festival concluded. Let us unite under the common purpose to raise the name -Mongolia high, and to welcome the coming year with success and accomplishments in every field.
May every one of Mongolians have fortune and success in their deeds.
May my Mongolia dwell eternally.
