President Elbegdorj met with the leaders of the newly elected parties

President Elbegdorj received leaders of the newly elected political parties of the Parliament. N. Altankhuyag Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), B. Erdenebat Secretary General of Democratic Party, leaders of Civil Will - Green Party, S. Oyun and S. Demberel, leaders of the “Justice” Coalition of Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) and Mongolian National Democratic Party (MNDP) Ch. Ulaan and S. Udval and Head of the Mongolian People’s Party S. Batbold, were present at the meeting.
According to the law of the State Great Hural and the order of the Parliamentary session, the first session of the State Great Hural must be scheduled by the President after the discussing with the leaders of the political parties that elected to the Parliament.
“As you know, to discuss means to pronounce. Therefore, I am planning to specify and pronounce the exact date of the Parliamentary session and begin the first session of the State Great Hural. The new Parliament and the Government have to start its activity as soon as possible and as we understand, our people are expecting the same” said the President.
The leaders of the political parties agreed with the President and expressed their willingness to begin and participate in the first session of State Great Hural.
