President Ts. Elbegdorj meets President of China

Chinese President Hu Jintao holds talks with Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China, June 7, 2012. The President Hu Jintao said “I’m pleased to meet you, Mr. President. I greatly appreciate you attending the 12th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization /SCO/. I’m very glad to have this opportunity to exchange views on bilateral relations of both countries”.

President Elbegdorj thanked China for inviting the summit and praised China's role within the SCO, and congratulated Beijing on successfully completing its term as the SCO's rotating presidency.
“Let me express my cordial congratulation to People’s Republic of China on successfully completing its term as the presidency. Mongolians are pleased to see the SCO’s expanding operation and growing reputation.

Mongolia has growing interest in cooperation with China in the frame of SCO, especially in infrastructure, energy and agriculture” said President Elbegdorj.
“I’m grateful that you give high significance on both countries relations. We are willing to prosper our nation along with our neighbor, Mongolia.

I appreciate that you invited us to your country. The official visit paid in 2003 left good impression. We have to be like brothers and thank you for visit” said Hu Jintao.
President Elbegdorj thanked Chinese counterpart for his word and expressed his content with the broadening bilateral economic relations in recent years.
