The President of Mongolia Has Become an “Honorary Professor” of the National University of Kyrgyz



The President of Mongolia paid a visit to the National University of Kyrgyz after his speech at the Parliament of the Republic of Kyrgyz. The President was greeted by the Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science, K.Sadikov, The Rector of the University, Isamdinov, and the Pro-rector Usekeev E.
The Lecture Hall was full with professors and teachers as well as hundreds of students to honor the President of Mongolia. Following the Hymns of the two countries the Senior Officials of the University granted the President with an “Honorary Professor” title.
The Rector of the University stated “You are contributing to the development of Mongolia greatly. Mongolia is one of the ancient Nations of the world. The Honorary Professor title is awarded for your effort in developing Mongolia and contribution in democracy and liberty in the country”.
The former President of Kyrgyz Rosa Otunbaeva attended the ceremony and gave a speech about Mongolia and The President of Mongolia, about his youth and political career. She emphasized that the President of Mongolia is a powerful leader of democracy and liberty, and he is a father of his own four children as well as 20 other children he adopted.
The President Elbegdorj Ts. said “I am happy to receive this honorary title. I will cherish and honor this title. Mongolia and Kyrgyz are countries with the same root, same culture and same destiny. We cherish liberty. Nomadic culture is the best civilization, which is a perfect pattern of the harmony between people and the nature. Our ancestors, who were prodigy, chose the best type lifestyle”. And he stated Rosa Otunbaeva was an excellent role model for women’s participation in politics and social policy and her historic achievements were valuable. Also he stated “The worst enemy for the open society is corruption. We must fight against corruption and bribery. As the President I am working on the reform of Court system and setting justice”. And he talked about current policy and political activities as well as economic development of the country.
At the end of his speech the President granted the State award “Altan gadas” to Rosa Atambaeva, the former President of Kyrgyz for her contribution to democracy.
