The President was Updated with Judicial Affairs in Gobi-Sumber Aimag

President of Mongolia Ts. Elbegdorj continued his work in Gobi-Sumber aimag on the afternoon of February 4. After his arrival, he was familiarized with the aimag’s judicial affairs.
Primary and litigation affairs are carried out in the aimag. There is an information and inquiry service, which provides customers with information they need. For instance, if they need to write a claim, they will be provided with forms. They need only choose the right ones and fill them out with the name and case. They have three different forms of evidence from which people choose the right one that complies with their case and fill them out with facts.

The Information and Inquiry Service staff ask clients about the service they received -promptness, fairness, manners, and the attitudes of the judges after court cases and post them on the information board. Judges have less work load. So, on the information board and the website, they post information on which judge handled particular cases for how much time. They prefer to settle cases as fast as they can rather than waiting for the designated time by law. 85-90% of the cases are settled within 30 days. 91-95% of the cases are settled by conciliation. Court decisions, as well as the rights and responsibilities of the participants, are posted on the website and showed on the
screen as well.

When the President asked if they have room for children, they answered they are planning to open one in July with cooperation of the World Vision.
