State Visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Successfully Concludes



Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Lee Myung-bak, President of the Republic of Korea and First Lady Kim Yoon-ok who are paying state visit to Mongolia at the invitation of Mongolia’s President Tsakhia Elbegdorj attended mini Naadam Festival today. Mongolians showcase concert, horse racing, wrestling and archery for the most venerable guests. By this tradition, they were entertained with mini Mongolian folk concert and mini Naadam.
Prior to President Lee’s departure, the two Presidents held farewell meeting. President Lee expressed his appreciation to the President of Mongolia and the people of Mongolia. President Lee said: “This visit has become a historic one that has given impetus to deepening and developing the relations between the Republic of Korea and Mongolia. Mr. President, the meeting and talks we held were highly fruitful. I am returning home with wonderful memories on the people of Mongolia, and Mongolian history and culture. Further, I will make efforts for the friendly cooperation of the two countries.
“Our two people have good friendly relations from ancient time. Our people have received you Mr. President with appreciation. I am sure that our accords will be realized in the near future. Mr. President, I wish you well-being and prosperity for the people of the Republic of Korea. Have a safe trip,” President Elbegdorj said.
