Head of the President’s Office Mr. Battulga Addresses “Altargana” Festival of Buriyat Culture and Arts with Closing Remarks

Thousands of people from Mongolia, the Russian Federation, People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Sakha, the Republic of Kalmyk and the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in this year’s “Altargana” Festival of the Buriyat ethnics, held for the first time in Ulaanbaatar. The Head of the Office of the President of Mongolia, D.Battulga, participated in the Closing ceremony of the Festival today and addressed the audience with remarks.
Mr. D. Battulga noted that the President of Mongolia, Ts. Elbegdorj’s, visit to the Republic of Buriyatia and his participation in the World Convent of Mongols further deepened the relationship between Mongolia and the Republic of Buriyatia, as well as among all Mongol ethnics around the world.
Mr. D. Battulga further conveyed to the audience his pleasure to have the Capital city of Ulaanbaatar as the host city for this year’s Buriyat ethnicity’s cultural and athletic Festival, “Altargana”.
Furthermore, Mr. D. Battulga expressed his gratitude for the Government of Mongolia and the Russian Federation, and members of the society and public organizations in helping make these two events, which are the common ground of World’s Mongol ethnics and the symbol of their friendship, and common cultural and historical heritage.

Head of the Office of the President, D. Battulga, ended his speech by sending his candid congratulations to the respected citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Buriyatia, for receiving Honorable medals and awards from the Mongolian Government, on behalf of the President of Mongolia and himself.
