President Elbegdorj Sends Greetings To People of Bayan-Ulgii Province on the Occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Province

Dear People of Bayan-Ulgii,

It is my greatest pleasure to extend to You my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the
70th anniversary of the establishment of Bayan-Ulgii province and I wish you success, happiness and all the best.

The government of Mongolia pays special attention to the rights of the people in the frontiers of Mongolia to work, study, and live healthily and well. The government has taken multi-faceted measures to improve their lives and these have been and will be in the focus of state policies.

It is my pleasure to highlight that Kazakhs, Uriankhais, Durvuds, Tuvans, and Khoshuuds are parts of the great history, culture and heritage of the Mongolian people and enrich and embellish them with unique colors of your culture, tradition, and customs.

It is our pride that among the Kazakhs of the world, the Kazakhs of our country have preserved their language, culture and tradition in their originality.

I take this opportunity to note that it is the fruit of your hard work that you, Ulgiis-the residents of the province, by welcoming the historic anniversary, implemented “70 creative worka” for the development of the province, improved the appearance of the provincial center, and inspired all citizens for their increased initiatives and participation.

Much work has been done to use soil, water, forest and natural resources appropriately, to develop vertical highway of the western region, and branch auto road network, an aerodrome, and small and medium scale enterprises, to use advantage of unemployed labor force, to alleviate unemployment and poverty, to improve the living standards and conditions of the citizens.

In my speech during the meeting with the Ulgiis last winter and my greetings to You on the occasion of Nauryz Holiday, I expressed my views and suggestions on the issues facing Bayan-Ulgii province and the development perspectives, and my belief that you will enthusiastically work to implement your proposed objectives, and deliver results.

Rich mother-nature, growing herds, modern education and culture, our state policy paying exceptional heed to national minority, hard working characteristics of Kazakhs are the guarantee of the development of Bayan-Ulgii people.

I wish You, dear Ulgiis, to live in abundance, freedom, well-being and harmony in your homeland from generation to generation.
