Naadam Greetings Continue

President Elbegdorj Receives A Letter of Congratulations from Pope Benedict XVI

On the occasion of great holidays of Mongols - the 804th anniversary of the establishment of Great Mongolian State, and the 89th anniversary of the People’s Revolution of Mongolia, Elbegdorj Tsakhia, President of Mongolia has received letters of congratulations from heads of states, and representatives of international organizations.

President Elbegdorj received a letter of congratulations from Pope Benedict XVI, the Pope wrote: “As the nation marks the occasion of Mongolia’s National Day, I am pleased to send warm greetings to your excellency and to your fellow citizens.”


Elbegdorj Tsakhia, President of Mongolia received a letter of congratulations on the occasion of the National Naadam Festival from Mr.Pius Fischer, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps at Ulaanbaatar and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia.

In his letter of congratulations, Ambassador Fischer wrote:
“Mr. President, On the occasion of the National Naadam Festival, I wish to express to you on behalf of the Diplomatic Corps our cordial congratulations.

The entire Diplomatic Corps is looking forward with the people of Mongolia to have celebrated the Naadam Festival and see its sportive competitions.

As Dean I have the honor, to wish you Mr. President on this occasion continued success in your office and personal well-being.”


Congratulations from United States Senator Mark Begich

President Elbegdorj received a letter of congratulations from United States Senator Mr. Mark Begich. In the letter, he applauded the success of Mongolian democratic revolution. Senator Begich highlighted: “I am pleased to offer my sincere congratulations on the 20th anniversary of the Mongolian Democratic Revolution. Your name is an inspiration to other emerging democracies around the world.”
