Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia Officially Welcomes Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India

On Sukhbaatar square Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia and Khajidsuren Bolormaa, First Lady of Mongolia officially welcomed Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India and her spouse Mr. Devisingh Ramsingh Patil those are paying state visit to Mongolia at the invitation of the President of Mongolia.

At the welcoming ceremony from Mongolian side, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament N.Enkhbold, Member of Parliament and Foreign Minister G.Zandanshatar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from Mongolia to the Republic of India Mr. V.Enkhbold, Yo.Otgonbayar, Minister of Education, Culture and Science and Chairman of the Mongolian Side of the Inter-government Commission between the Governments of Mongolia and India, D.Battulga, Head of Office of the President of Mongolia, Secretary of National Security Council Ts.Enkhtuvshin, Deputy Mayor of the Capital City D.Ganbold, from Indian side Union Minister of State for Surface Transport and National Highways Mahadev Singh Kandela, Member of Parliament O.T. Lepcha, Member of Parliament Sushila Tiriya, Member of Parliament Manikrao H.Gavit, Secretary to the President of India Dr. Cristy L. Fernandes and Sanjay Singh, Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs were present.

During the official welcoming ceremony, the anthems of the two countries were played, and President Patil paid respect to Chinggis Khaan monument.
President Patil visited the State House of Mongolia and signed the notebook of honorary guests of the State House.
Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia received Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India in State Honorary Ger (Dwelling) and held a ceremonial meeting.
